For convenient, one-tap access to your event page, you can add eventmate directly to your smartphone’s home screen. Follow the steps below based on your device:

iPhone (Safari)

Open Safari

Go to the eventmate page you’d like to save, e.g., app.eventmate.ca/nightofgiving.

Tap the Share Icon

It’s located at the bottom center of the Safari task bar.

Select “Add to Home Screen”

Assign a custom name (such as your event’s title) if you prefer.

Tap “Add”

The page icon will appear on your home screen, just like a regular app.

Android (Chrome)

Open Chrome

Navigate to the eventmate page you want to save, e.g., app.eventmate.ca/nightofgiving.

Tap the More Options (⋮) Icon

It’s typically found at the top-right corner of Chrome.

Choose “Add to Home Screen”

You’ll see two ways to add the page.

  • Install as an app:

    • Creates an “app-like” icon on your home screen.

    • Faster loading but limited to one event at a time, and you cannot rename it (it’ll default to “eventmate” or your event name as recognized by the browser).

  • Create a shortcut:

    • Allows you to set multiple shortcuts for various events.

    • You can rename each shortcut to something personalized (e.g., “Giving Back Gala”).
