Linking Stripe is essential for processing donations — it ensures all funds go smoothly into your bank account. Here, you’ll learn how to link an existing Stripe account—or create a new one—so you can process donations securely.
The steps differ slightly depending on whether you already have a Stripe account.
Provide the email address associated with your existing Stripe account.
Stripe will display any account(s) linked to that email.
After choosing the correct account, follow the prompts to review and confirm your details.
Once confirmed, your Stripe account is successfully connected to your eventmate account.
If you don’t have a Stripe account or the email you entered isn’t recognized, Stripe will walk you through account creation.
After entering your email, choose your business type (e.g., nonprofit, charity, for-profit).
Fill out all required information (legal name, registration data, bank details, etc.).
Once your account is verified and approved, the donation feature becomes active.
