Setting-Up your Page

Once you have created a new event, you will be taken to the Appearance tab by default. This is where you can customize how your eventmate page looks for your guests. The form fields and settings are displayed on the middle, and a real-time mobile preview appears on the right side.


🔗 URL Handle

This will be your URL handle used at the end of your event page’s unique link. For instance, if you enter “em2025,” your event page would be accessible at:

app.eventmate.ca/em2025

The handle cannot be changed once the event is saved. If the handle is already taken, you’ll see an error prompt.


🔠 Page Title

This will be the page title that guests see at the top of your event page. This could be the event’s official title, such as “Climate Change Gala” or “Annual Shareholders Meeting.”


📝 Description

You can enter a short paragraph or tagline for your event in this section, giving visitors an immediate sense of what the event is about.
