Viewing and Managing Donations

The Donations tab provides a complete report of all contributions linked to your event. This is where you can track, manage, and organize both online donations received through eventmate and manual entries added by your team.

🔄 Types of Donations

Stripe Donations (Live via eventmate)

Donations made directly through the eventmate donation form are automatically recorded here. These entries are labeled as Stripe.

Manual Donations

Donations that are received outside of eventmate (e.g., direct bank transfers, cash, or cheques) can be recorded manually. This ensures that all funds are visible in one central place. Manual entries are labeled as Manual.

Tip: Manual donations are especially useful for keeping your fundraising momentum visible during a live event. You can quickly enter contributions received through other channels, so the live donation meter reflects the full amount raised.

📊 Donation Report Details

Each donation record includes:

  • First Name & Last Name – The donor’s name (if not anonymous).

  • Amount – The contribution amount.

  • Email – The donor’s email address (for Stripe donations, this is automatically captured).

  • Type – Indicates if the donation was received through Stripe or entered manually.

  • Anonymous – Shows whether the donor opted to stay anonymous.

⚙️ Managing Donations

Editing or Deleting Manual Donations

Manual entries can be edited or deleted if changes are needed.

Viewing or Resending Receipts

For Stripe donations, you can click the ellipsis (⋮) menu to view or resend receipts to donors.

Note: Receipts cannot be generated or resent for manually entered donations.

Exporting Reports

Use the Export to CSV button to download the full donations report for offline records or accounting purposes.
