Enabling Stripe
Stripe is required to process all payments in eventmate. Whether you’re using the Donations feature, the Onsite Sales feature, or both, you must enable Stripe before you can begin collecting contributions or selling items.
Once enabled, your account will be securely linked to Stripe, allowing payments to flow directly into your organization’s bank account.
💎 Activate Stripe
Go to Account Settings
From your dashboard, click your profile name in the bottom-left corner.
Select Account from the menu.

In the accounts setting page, click on Billing, Scroll down to Stripe Integration to check the current status.

Enable Stripe
Click Manage Stripe Account.
This will direct you to Stripe, where you can connect an existing account or create a new one
(covered in the next page: Connecting Your Stripe Account).
Confirm Status
Once your Stripe account is successfully connected, the status will change to Active.
At this point, both Donations and Onsite Sales features can be configured.
Note: Stripe must remain active for payments to function. If your account is disconnected or inactive, donors and guests will not be able to complete transactions.
